The purpose of the league is to engender, foster and promote athletic programs and school spirit at each of the member schools.  The league will also assist and support faculty members involved in the administration and conduct of the interscholastic athletic programs.  The league will provide the students of member schools the opportunity for participation and competition within the mutually agreed upon philosophy that athletics is an extension of the classroom.
